Chelsea and Brendan eloped at Brighton Town Hall in February. You wouldn't be able to tell it was February from the photos though as we were blessed with amazing weather! Myself and the videographer Amber coordinated the morning so that the bride and groom wouldn't see each other before the ceremony. Brendan arrived first so we took him upstairs in the town hall for some photos before he was called in to see the registrar. We kept Chelsea outside for some photos until it was safe for her to come inside. She was called into the Fitzherbert Room to speak with the registrar whilst Brendan was waiting in the ceremony room next door.
Chelsea walked down the aisle whilst the song Holocene by Bon Iver was playing. They both have very different tastes in music but this was a song they both really liked. They had a lovely intimate ceremony, they said their vows, exchanged rings and had their first kiss. After signing the register we headed upstairs for some photos inside the town hall. On the top floor they have a beautiful staircase and a huge skylight so it's a great place for photos. After that we headed back out the doors of the ceremony room to throw confetti. The bride and groom had a handful of confetti each and threw it up to celebrate their marriage.
We took a short walk to the beach for some more couple portraits. We had to take advantage of the beautiful weather! They bought a bottle of champagne with them as they wanted some fun couple photos. Once we got to the beach they popped open the champagne and had a drink. We only had a short amount of time with them as they had to head off to the airport to catch their flight for their honeymoon. I really love the photos as they show how happy and excited they were to get married. I feel lucky to be one of the only people with them on their special day.
