Fitzleroi Barn is a country barn wedding venue in Pulborough, West Sussex. They have a large court yard which can be used for an outdoor ceremony and your drinks reception. They also have a beautiful meadow with views of the South Downs. They only hold one wedding per weekend so you have access to the venue to day before to set up and the day after to pack away.
Getting Ready
The venue has a small cottage on site available to use for getting ready the morning of the wedding. This space would be ideal for a small group. It has a small living area, a kitchen and bed in the loft space.
Ceremonies
Fitzleroi Barn is licensed to hold legal wedding ceremonies inside the barn, in the long room or outside in the courtyard. New to 2025 is there open field space also available for ceremonies. The main barn and courtyard can accommodate up to 120 guests and the smaller long room can accommodate up to 60 guests. It's great to have indoor and outdoor options so you don't have to worry about the British weather. They have also just laid a new wooden floor inside the main barn which looks great. The venue allow dried petal confetti.
Drinks Reception
Your drinks reception will be held in the courtyard where there is outdoor seating and plenty of space for garden games if you want some fun entertainment. This venue do not charge corkage so you can bring your own alcohol.
Wedding Breakfast
Your wedding breakfast will be held inside the main barn which can seat up to 150 guests. The venue have a list of recommended caterers but they also allow you to bring in your own. If you'd rather a more relaxed wedding breakfast they do allow food trucks to come into the courtyard.
Photo Locations
Fitzerloi barn have a beautiful meadow round the back of the venue with stunning views of the South Downs, this is the perfect place for your couple portraits. They also get some amazing sunsets so make sure you get some golden hour shots!
Evening Reception
After your wedding breakfast and speeches your guests will head out into the courtyard whilst the staff turn around the main barn ready for your evening reception. You can have a DJ or band set up at one end of the barn where the dance floor is ready for your first dance. There is a bar inside the main barn, last orders are at 11.30pm. Music is to finish at 11.45pm and everyone to leave by midnight.
