About The Venue
Spring Gardens Nursery is a family run pick your own fruit and vegetable farm with a shop and a cafe. The Victorian Greenhouse (Gooseberry House) is available to hire for weddings and events, they don't have a wedding licence so it would have to be a celebrant lead ceremony, blessing or just the wedding reception. The greenhouse is filled with natural light making it a photographers dream. It's a beautiful space perfect for couples who love plants and the outdoors.
Confetti
The venue allow real petal confetti. The pathway next to the Gooseberry House is an ideal place for your confetti line.
Wedding Breakfast
You can have your wedding breakfast inside Gooseberry House, it seats up to 100 people. It's filled with plants so you won't have to do much decoration and they have beautiful furniture available for you to use which is included in the hire price. They have their own kitchen and caterers available to use for your canapés, drinks and wedding breakfast. They also allow external caterers if you want to bring your own but they have to have a site visit and bring their own staff.
Photo Locations
There are lovely photo locations in every corner of the venue as there are plants and flowers everywhere. The polytunnels and shepherds huts can be used for cool couple photos.
Evening Reception
In the evening the greenhouse is lit by fairy lights and festoon lighting. The venue allow live music so you can bring a DJ, musician or band for your evening entertainment.
